Day 2 : Athens
After breakfast, enjoy a day dedicated to exploring the city of Athens. We will begin with a panoramic tour passing by the most important monuments and landmarks of the city. Marvel at the Panathinaikon stadium (the marble stadium where the first modern Olympics in 1896 took place), pass by the ex Royal Palace and today the Prime Minister's residence, the Zappion (ex Royal gardens and conference and exhibition hall), the temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the tomb of the unknown soldier guarded by the colourful Evzones, Schliemann's' house, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the old Parliament, and Constitution (Syntagma) square to arrive at the Acropolis. Our guided visit to the Acropolis will include the Propylae, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erechtheion. Later, we will walk through Herodion and Dionysos theatre to the nearby museum of Acropolis, voted one of the best museums in the world, for a guided visit. This afternoon is at leisure, so you may like to explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city, or do some shopping at Ermou street.
Day 3: Delphi - Kalambaka
After our breakfast we depart northwards towards Delphi, which used to be the most sacred spot in the world and a pilgrimage centre for many centuries in the antiquity. Admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, walk the Sacred Way, and visit the Temple of Apollo, home of Pythia (the oracle). We will then continue to the local museum with the famous bronze statue of the Charioteer. In the afternoon we will continue our drive, crossing the mountains of central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka for dinner and our overnight stay.

Day 4 : Meteora - Athens
This morning we will be visiting Meteora. These amazing rock formations, like towers of sandstone, have stood ageless and have provided a sacred retreat for monks over the centuries. A number of monasteries are hidden on top of Meteora. The view over the plain is breathtaking and Meteora is considered among the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and listed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Monuments. After our visit, we will drive back to Athens and on the way, we will have a short stop at Thermopylae, to admire the statue of Leonidas King of Sparta.
Day 5: Piraeus - Mykonos
After breakfast this morning, we will transfer to the port of Piraeus to catch the local ferry to Mykonos. On arrival in Mykonos you'll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure for you to explore this beautiful island, in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea.
Day 6: Mykonos
Today is at leisure to continue exploring this famous island, a meeting point of the international “jet set”. Discover its amazing beaches, and enjoy the unique night-life of Mykonos, or linger over a seaside dinner.
Day 7: Mykonos - Santorini
After breakfast, transfer to the port of Mykonos to catch the local high-speed ferry to Santorini. On arrival in Santorini, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure for you to discover one of the most famous islands in Greece, and the world.
Day 8: Santorini
Today is at leisure to explore the magical island of Santorini. Discover Fira and Oia, its 2 principal towns that cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera and offer breathtaking views to the volcano. You may like to explore Santorini's unique beaches in exotic colours of black, red, and white, a product of their volcanic sand. If you're a 'foodie' then you'll love the cuisine here, which boasts extraordinary ingredients thanks to nutrient-rich volcanic soil. Amongst the island’s specialties are its world famous sun-dried cherry tomatoes, fava beans, capers, and white eggplant. In Santorini you'll enjoy one of the best sunsets the Aegean has to offer, so make sure you don't miss the display in Oia.
Day 9: Santorini Departure
The morning is at leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport for a short domestic ﬂight, connecting you with your international return ﬂight home.
