We walk as real Parisians through the medieval part of the Latin Quarter, a familial neighbourhood famous for the high quality and large choice of food produce. Our tour brings us through a market, then in a cheese dairy, at several bakers’ and confectioner’s, and finally in a regional specialty shop. A walk rich in tastes and flavour’s, with a focus on family cuisine, to introduce you to the French gourmandise.
The visit includes a tasting of foie gras, wine, cheese and bread.
Guided tour in English from 9 am to noon and comfortable shoes are recommended.

Start your Parisian wine tasting and lunch at midday in an elegant wine bar in a beautiful wine cellar in central Paris. Taste five wines, served in Riedel wine glasses, from different regions in France including Bordeaux, Sancerre, Champagne and Rhone. Your expert host, a trained sommelier, will guide you through the wine-tasting process and teach you some techniques on how to fully appreciate the different wines included in your tasting. As you savour the flavours, listen as your guide takes you on a tour of France's main wine regions and shows you how to read a French wine label. With your wine, taste some artisanal cheese from an excellent fromager (cheese maker). Learn how to pair cheese with wine and discover the reasons behind why certain flavours go better together. In addition, enjoy some tasty charcuterie (cured meats), including smoked ham from Southwest France and saucisson (sausage) from Corsica. This fun and informative lunchtime tour in Paris will give you a unique insight into France’s famous culinary traditions, and will surely delight your senses!

The chef confectioners and chocolate makers vie with each other in talent, and the windows in refinement and elegance, for the greatest joy of the eyes and of the palate. We taste the specialities of the visited shops, in particular 2 pastries, 5 chocolates and some bread. 1 guide for a maximum of 8 people. No workshop visit. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
