After you land at Dubrovnik airport, a transfer will be waiting to take you to the port. Embarkation begins at 14:00pm, so you will have plenty of time to get settled in your cabin. Around 17:00pm, we will head out for a guided walking tour of Dubrovnik, the 'Pearl of the Adriatic'. You will wander down Stradun, the famous main street and square that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide will show you the city's most interesting sights and visit the Franciscan Monastery with its historic Pharmacy. Once back onboard, we will toast to the journey ahead with a Welcome Reception, followed by a delightful dinner. Meals: Dinner
Wake up to a magical view as our ship glides past Dubrovnik's Ancient City Walls continuing to one of the stunning Elaphiti Islands for a refreshing swim stop. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Slano, a peaceful fishing village and our gateway to Ston. This fortified town on the Pelješac Peninsula is not only famous for its historic walls but also for its exceptional Oysters. The Pelješac peninsula is also renowned as one of Croatia's best wine-producing regions. After exploring the town, we will visit a nearby village to enjoy an authentic local Oyster tasting. This morning, we sail north for the Island of Mljet. Join our Cruise Manager on a stroll to the famous Salt Lakes within Mljet National Park. From there, we will continue our journey towards the Island of Korčula, the birthplace of the legendary explorer Marco Polo. We will arrive in the afternoon and embark on a guided walking tour of this enchanting walled town, which is one of the best preserved Medieval Cities in the Mediterranean. We will spend the night in Korčula where you can indulge in a fantastic dining experience at one of the many restaurants and bars. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Our morning begins with a beautiful sail towards the Island of Hvar. On the way, we will cruise past Bol on Brač Island and the famous 'Zlatni Rat' (the Golden Horn), which is a stunning beach whose shape is constantly changing due to the currents. If the weather is permitting, we will take a short swim stop to cool off and relax. Lunch will be served onboard as we continue to Hvar Town, a charming seaside destination with eight centuries of architecture and a favourite destination for international celebrities. Our guided walking tour will take you to historical sites such as St. Stephen’s Square and Cathedral and the Arsenal with the Theatre built on its first floor, the first Municipal Theatre in Europe. High above the town, you will see the impressive Fortica Fortress, which offers magnificent views of the bay and the Pakleni Islands. The evening is yours to explore and dine at your leisure. Please Note: Due to limited capacity in the Hvar Harbour (during peak season), the Port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad instead. We start the day early with a sail to the small Island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, which is a magnificent natural wonder. The possibility of our visit will depend on the weather and you will be informed in good time. Afterward, we will continue to Vis, an Island that was once a strategic Yugoslav Naval Base and restricted to the public. Due to its isolation, Vis has a special charm as 'the Mediterranean as it once was' and is fascinating to explore. Since Croatia's independence, the Island has slowly begun to open up to the outside world. Some of Europe's largest Naval Battles were fought in the waters around Vis and we will delve into the Island's Military history with a tour in Military Land Rover Defenders. We will spend the night in one of the Harbours on the Island. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Early this morning, we will head towards Milna on the Island of Brač. If the weather is permitting, we will make a swim stop in one of the pristine bays, giving you time to relax and enjoy lunch onboard. After lunch, we will disembark in Milna and take a trip to the Olive Oil Museum. Here, we will share the stories of the Island's traditions and history, complete with a tasting of traditional homemade Olive Oil. We'll spend the night in Milna town. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
This morning, we will set sail for Trogir. If the weather is permitting, we will make a swim stop along the way and lunch will be served onboard. After docking, enjoy a short orientation walk through this Medieval City, sometimes called a 'miniature Venice' or a 'mini Dubrovnik' due to its Ancient Walls. Trogir is also often referred to as a 'floating Museum Town' because of its masterful architecture including stunning Venetian Palaces. In the late afternoon, we will take a short ride to Split for a guided tour of the city. You will see the seafront promenade and the historic Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. This city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will discover its Roman heritage, Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. You will have some free time to explore Split on your own before we transfer back to the ship for the night in Trogir. Please Note: Due to ongoing reconstruction at Split Harbour, we may sail directly to Trogir. If this happens, a bus transfer will be provided to and from Split for the sightseeing tour. After breakfast, it's time to say farewell to our crew and disembark. We will begin our journey north by coach, stopping for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is another magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will walk around several of the lower lakes in this natural wonder, which is a stunning landscape of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded Mountains and lush vegetation. After our visit, we will continue our drive to Opatija, where dinner will be served at our hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, we will travel to Slovenia to visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Cave, which is one of the largest in Europe. You will tour this wondrous subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, we will drive to Venice where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure before we gather for a Welcome Dinner with your tour director and new travelling companions. Meals: Breakfast, Welcome Dinner
Today, we will begin our exploration of Venice with a boat ride to Murano Island, which is famous for its artistic Glassware. We will then visit a Glassblowing Factory to watch a demonstration by master craftsmen. Next, we head to St. Mark’s Square for a walking tour where you will see St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace and enjoy views of the Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs. The rest of the day is free to explore Venice at your own pace, shop or join an optional Gondola Ride. Meals: Breakfast
