Departing at 07:30am, your adventure begins with a scenic transfer from Rome to Sorrento. As we travel, marvel at the stunning landscapes of the Italian countryside and breathtaking views along the Coast, where crystal-clear waters meet hills dotted with Citrus groves and charming villages. Arriving in Sorrento, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, you will be enchanted by its vibrant streets, artisan ceramic workshops and historic Churches. After checking in to your hotel, enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. For those seeking more adventure, consider joining an optional tour to explore the spectacular Amalfi Coast. Today, is a day dedicated not only to discovering Sorrento but also one of the most important Archaeological sites in the world. You will participate in a half day tour to visit Pompeii. Accompanied by an expert tour leader, we will head to Pompeii, where a professional local guide will take you on an extraordinary walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient Roman City, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Skip-the-line access, personal earphones and a radio receiver ensures you won’t miss a single fascinating detail as your guide brings history to life. After breakfast, you will depart Sorrento to Capri Island. Depending on weather conditions, you will take a boat ride to the popular and dreamy 'Grotta Azzurra' (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. After visiting the Blue Grotto, continue to the Giardini di Augusto (Gardens of Augustus), which is a beautifully landscaped terrace offering panoramic views of the iconic Faraglioni Rock Formations and the Marina Piccola Bay, which is an ideal spot for photos and a relaxing stroll. You will see wonderful views of the Bay of Naples with some free time for lunch (lunch not included). After lunch, you can take advantage of some free time to explore Capri at your leisure or go shopping. In the afternoon, you will check-in to your new hotel for a well deserved rest. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, set out early to discover the beauty of Capri at your own pace. Explore the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful Island or take a swim in the Gulf of Naples. If the excursion to the Blue Grotto was not possible on Day 3 due to sea conditions, you may choose to take the row boat excursion today. Return to your hotel for your last evening in Capri. After breakfast, depart Capri by ferry to Sorrento. Once on the mainland, board the coach and transfer to Positano, driving along the Amalfi Coast on the most famous road in the Campania Region. Upon arrival in Positano, check-in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Meals: Breakfast
Today, see all that Positano has to offer as you set off to explore the ancient fishermen's village after breakfast. Known for its cubic Empire houses perched upon cliffs looking over turquoise water, Positano is the most well known summer resort area on the whole peninsula. Walk to the heart of town on Via Pasitea and weave your way through the city’s narrow streets, terraces, and gardens overlooking the bay. Be sure to buy one of the straw handbags or handmade sandals for which Positano is famous. Return to your hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before departing at the designated time for Naples, the third largest city in Italy. Situated along a lovely bay, Naples is known for its Islands, the neighbourhood of Posillipo and Mount Vesuvius. Check-in to your hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at approximately 08:15am. Enjoy a 2 hour panoramic tour led by a professional guide, discovering the most important monuments of the lively City of Naples. Our first two stops will be to the Cathedral to visit its Treasure Chapel and to St. Restituta Basilica. Afterwards, drive to the Town Hall Square where the New Castle was built by the French family of the Anjou before continuing your tour to Posillipo. Enjoy a stop at the St. Antonio Church Terrace to get the best view of the City and the Bay. Your tour continues to Plebiscite Square where you can admire the Royal Palace (outside), the beautiful Church of St. Francesco di Paola in its Neoclassic style, the famous Umberto I Gallery and the San Carlo Theatre. Your tour will end in the City Centre. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure to discover the beauties of this City on your own before spending your last night relaxing at your hotel in Naples.
