Meet your assistant in Termini Station, at around 08:30am and take the high speed train to Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, our expert local assistant meets you at Naples train station in front of the fountain inside the station, direct transfer to the Hotel. Day at disposal to explore the city and taste the excellence of local food such as pizza. Overnight stay in Naples.
After breakfast at the hotel, in the morning make your way to Piazza del Gesù Nuovo to start a guided walking tour to admire the Church of Gesù Nuovo and the Monastery of Santa Chiara. Next, we will visit Pignasecca, a colourful local market buzzing with food and clothing shops. Take in the sites and smells of the market and try some typical Neapolitan street food along the way. Enter the bustling Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish Quarter), the most densely populated and characteristic part of the city. Look up the hill at its grid of alleys and stairs and take in the street art and hanging linens decorating the balconies. Finish in the monumental area of Naples and admire the elegant Caffè Gambrinus, the San Carlo Theatre, the Galleria Umberto and the Piazza Plebiscito framed in the background by the Royal Palace. After breakfast, check-out of the hotel for your pick-up around 10:00am. Proceed to Pompeii for a private guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This Ancient Roman City was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. and buried it, preserving it under a sea of Volcanic ash for nearly 1,700 years. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque Old Town Centre and characteristic Fisherman’s Village of Marina Grande, which is one of the most authentic treasures of the city. A local assistant welcomes you at the hotel during check-in and gives you all the information for the Capri excursion and the following transfer and activities. Overnight stay in Sorrento. After breakfast, we will depart for the Port and sail to Capri by traditional Gozzo Sorrentino. Enjoy a boat trip around the island and the possibility to swim in its crystal clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance if weather permitting). Once landed on the island, you will continue by minibus to discover it and reach the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island. Enjoy some free time to explore Capri at your own pace. Return to the port to head back to Sorrento and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast in the hotel, your morning is free at leisure in Sorrento. Afterwards, you will be transferred from Sorrento to Naples at around 15:30pm where our local assistant at Naples Train Station will help you to board the high speed train going to Rome for your journey onward. Arrival at Termini Station is scheduled for around 19:00pm. Meals: Breakfast
